Ringing Endorsement

I got a call last night from Tom G. He was in the bell choir at church with Kristi awhile ago. Tom and I are friendly towards each other but don’t usually cross paths more than once every couple of months. He and his wife, Jill, saw the Saturday night performance of The Importance of Being Earnest. Friends of theirs had seen a performance of The Foreigner at WCT earlier this year and had enjoyed it so much that they asked Tom and Jill to join them in going to our show. He called last night because they really enjoyed the show. He said it was extremely well cast and all of the actors did a fantastic job. He even said that they would like to see it again but they already have plans for the next two weekends. We talked for nearly 20 minutes about the show, the theatre, and the upcoming season. It appears that we may responsible for attracting a couple more regular customers for the theatre.

I have to say, I felt great when I got off the phone. It is one thing to have friends and family tell you how well you are doing in a play, but to have a casual acquaintance go out of their way to call up and rave about the show makes you feel great. I would agree with him. I think the show is great. There are two more weekends left (8 more shows). If you can spare the time, you won’t be disappointed.

That’s great!! It’s really good to hear stuff like that, especially after all the hard work that went into this show.
