Waukesha Symphony Orchestra

Last night our entire family went to the performance of the Waukesha Symphony Orchestra at the Country Springs Hotel. We had an absolutely fabulous time. The show was staged in the band shell outdoors behind the hotel. We got there around 6:00pm, set up our lawn chairs, and had a wonderful picnic supper. The program started an hour and a half later and was centered on Broadway show tunes from the 1950s. The orchestra was phenomenal. A bonus to the night was John and Kelli Cramer from Waukesha Civic Theatre appearing as Les Paul and Mary Ford. They are recreated some of the segments from a television show that Les Paul and Mary Ford had appeared in and Kelli sang 5 wonderful songs with the assistance of the orchestra. The culmination of the night was a spectacular fireworks show while the orchestra played Stars and Stripes Forever. I think we have found another event to add to our annual traditions.
