The Man With the Plastic Sandwich

Last night, I went to the final performance of The Man with the Plastic Sandwich at Summer Stage of Delafield. Several of the folks we know from other theatre productions were involved in the show. P.A., Donna, and Howard were all part of the cast and crew of Lost In Yonkers with A.J. and Michael was in the cast of The Importance of Being Earnest with me.

The play was really good and even contained a lesson for all of us. The actors did a great job. The venue was very interesting. They have built an outdoor stage on the grounds of Lapham Peak State Park in Delafield. The mosquitoes were pretty bad due to the recent rains. But they settled down once the sun went down. It got a little chilly near the end of the show. I think this would be great place to take the family for a show on a mid-summer night if they decide to put on something a little more family-friendly next year.

Kudos to Howard and his group for another excellent night of theatre.
