The Terry Smirl Trio

Yesterday afternoon, the Dramagoons all jumped into the family van and headed over to Waukesha Civic Theatre to listen to some wonderful jazz music performed by the Terry Smirl Trio. The event was part of WCT’s Random Acts of Entertainment series. The trio is composed of a drummer, a pianist, and a bassist; all members of the Waukesha Symphony Orchestra. They played excellent jazz versions of Broadway show tunes. During their second set, they were joined by the lovely and talented Kelli Cramer, who provided beautiful vocal accompaniment on three of the songs. It was such an enjoyable show.
